ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Customers at a South City Jack in the Box became victims of an armed robbery while they waited for their food.

The suspect approached two different vehicles in the drive-thru line in the 1800 block of Gravois, pointed a gun at the occupants and stole their wallets around 9:45 Tuesday night.

The first victims, ages 17 and 13, said after the robbery they saw the suspect walk to the vehicle in front of them. The victims backed out of the drive-thru and went home where they called police.

The second victims, ages 26 and 24, said they also called police from home after giving the suspect their wallets.

The investigation is ongoing.
