CASEYVILLE, Ill. (KMOV.com) – A woman was arrested in Caseyville for allegedly drinking alcohol and using cocaine while inside a parked vehicle outside of a business.

On March 28, Diane Rodriguez, 23, of Fairmont City, was arrested as officers did a business check in the 1000 block of South Main Street.

According to officers, Rodriguez had an open alcohol container while sitting inside a vehicle in a parking lot. Police said Rodriguez admitted to drinking alcohol and using cocaine while inside the parked vehicle. During a search, police said, they found cocaine on her.

Rodriguez is charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a class four felony. She is currently being held at the St. Clair County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
