Police in St. Peters have arrested a woman who allegedly tased a security guard after shoplifting at Mid Rivers Mall earlier this month.

Authorities said surveillance cameras showed Haley Wilson, 22, of Winfield, shoplifting from the bedding department at JcPenny on May 11. When a loss prevention officer tried to stop her, she tased the officer. The loss prevention officer did not require any medical treatment after being tased.

Wilson was taking into custody without incident at her workplace in O'Fallon, Missouri, police said.

Wilson is being charged with robbery and being held on a $25,000 bond at St. Charles County Jail.
