ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A man was killed during an accident in south St. Louis County Tuesday morning.

The three-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Lemay Ferry and Christoble around 7 a.m.

A witness told police that a blue Dodge Neon was traveling northbound on Lemay Ferry when it began drifting to the left, crossed the center lane and struck a gray Chevrolet Malibu head-on. The impact of the collision caused the Malibu to strike a third vehicle that was traveling south on Lemay Ferry.

The driver of the Dodge Neon, identified as 21-year-old Kyle Knoten, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

The female driver of the Malibu and the male driver of the third vehicle were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
