Police said they are investigating two carjackings that occurred a day apart from each other in St. Louis.

The first carjacking happened around 11:15 a.m. Saturday at a garage near 10th and Washington. The victim told police she was walking to her car and saw a man pointing a gun at her. Police said the victim complied with what the suspect wanted and he left in her car.

“I didn't know how it took place in this building. It's going to cause me to be very much aware of my surroundings,” said Mable Hall.

A resident of the adjoining building told News 4 only someone with an access key can get into the garage.

“You would have to have an access key to get into that door, to get into the building. Some people come in and somebody goes right behind them,” said resident Andre Perry.

The next day, a 23-year-old and 17-year-old were carjacked at a BP gas station in the 1100 block of Salisbury while trying to fill up their vehicle. A man with a gun took their car and drove off.
