Man who body shamed woman at Busch Stadium apologizes

( – A trainer who used Facebook to body shame an overweight woman at a Cardinals game has issued an apology.

Keith Hausher, who works for Shark Fitness, went on his company's Facebook page and wrote a post about an overweight woman he spotted at a Cardinals game. In the post, Hausher wrote about what the woman ate and said “unhealthy is never okay.”

Hausher issued in apology saying in part:

“I should have never posted an anonymous picture of someone on social media in the manner I did. I believe in fitness, it's what I do and I hope to encourage others to continue to stay on track to be the best they can be. I'm sorry my method ruined the message.”

Hausher also removed the post from his company's Facebook page.

The story has received a lot of attention on social media. A person claiming to be the woman in the photo wrote a response to the Facebook post. News 4 later learned the person behind that response is a man. The identity of the woman in picture is still not known.
