Bystanders wounded in downtown St. Louis shooting

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Authorities said three people were shot in downtown St. Louis after an argument on Wednesday.

Two 19-year-old men got into a fight at the Missouri Department of Corrections Gateway Program facility in the 1400 block of Olive.

The suspect was escorted out of the building after the confrontation.

He then went to his car, pulled out a gun and allegedly shot the man with whom he was arguing at the intersection of 14th and Olive, police said.

Two bystanders were hit by bullets near the intersection of Jefferson and Washington, according to police.

All three victims were taken to a hospital and are expected to be okay.

Police have not taken anyone into custody, but said they expect to make an arrest soon.
