Police investigating 3 shootings in St. Louis Saturday

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- St. Louis police are investigating three shootings Saturday that left three people with gunshot wounds to their legs.

The first call came out at 5:59 a.m. in the 2700 block of North Taylor. The 26-year-old male victim and a 36-year-old man were outside when a maroon vehicle occupied by three unknown subjects stopped at the stop sign. A passenger exchanged words with the victims. One of the occupants began firing shots at the victims, striking the 26-year-old man in the calf. The vehicle fled out of sight. 

The man was taken to the hospital and is listed as stable.

At 10:12 a.m., police responded the 5800 block of Era. A 21-year-old man was standing outside his residence with a 26-year-old man when they heard multiple gunshots. The 21-year-old man fled down a gangway and as he was running, was struck in the thigh. He went into a residence and called police. 

The second male ducked behind a vehicle upon hearing the shots and was not injured. 

Witnesses reported seeing two suspects run from the area.

Around 1:25 p.m., a 21-year-old female was sitting in front of a residence in the 4200 block of Peck when she heard several gunshots and a pain in her leg. She was taken to the hospital and listed as stable.

Witnesses in the area said the shots came from a gangway on the eastern side of the street.
