TROY, Mo. (AP) - A Troy, Missouri woman is facing a second-degree murder charge after allegedly hitting her boyfriend with her SUV in the spring of 2015.

In April 2015, Paulette Eaker was accused of involuntary manslaughter of her boyfriend, William Hortsman.

A grand jury issued the new charge against Eaker during the week of December 14.

Lincoln County authorities said Eaker hit Hortsman because he would not move out of the way.

Hortsman was found dead soon after the incident.

Eaker is being held on a $500,000 bond.
