A man is recovering after being shot twice in north St. Louis Monday night.
The 41-year-old victim told police he was inside his home in the 4400 block of North Newstead when he heard a car alarm sounding shortly before 10:00 p.m. When the victim went outside to investigate he heard multiple gunshots and was struck in the face and arm.
The victim is listed in stable condition at a local hospital.
Witnesses reported seeing three to four subjects in a grey Pontiac G6 leaving the scene after the shooting.
The suspect is described as a man, between 20 and 25 years old, who was wearing a white t-shirt over his face at the time of the shooting.
