ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- St. Peters police asked for the public's help finding a missing woman who has Alzheimer's disease.

Police said they discovered Mary Buckley, 77, was missing six months ago when they went to notify her of her son's death.  Her neighbors have not seen her and her SUV was found in Bridgeton.

Buckley is 5'4", 130 lbs, has gray hair, and has blue eyes. She has Alzheimer's disease and is in poor physical health, police say.  She has not been located at any hospital or businesses.

"She has limited mobility so she would not be someone you would spot in a grocery store or out in a park or doing those kinds of activities," said Officer Melissa Doss of St. Peters Police. "She had a lot of breathing issues that would not allow her to be in those kinds of places."

Detectives followed up on all the leads they received right after her disappearance. Anyone with information on her location is asked to contact police.
