BERKELEY, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A man and woman showed up to the police station in Berkeley with gunshot wounds early Thursday morning.

According to police, just before 2:00 a.m., a woman entered the police department and told them a man was in her car with a gunshot wound. Later, police found out the woman was also shot.

Police said the man and woman were talking to someone in the 6100 block of Washington when they were shot.

After arriving at the police station, the victims were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police have identified a person of interest in the case and said it was not a random act.
