Police said three people are charged in connection with a chase that started in Missouri, went into Illinois, and ended in downtown St. Louis.

Eric Hayes, Kevon Hayes, and Aubrey Watkins are charged with resisting arrest. Authorities said they were spotted by police in south St. Louis for having improper license plates. Police said they then led police on a chase into Illinois before driving into downtown St. Louis.

The chase ended near the Hyatt Hotel. Eric and Kevon Hayes were arrested near the intersection of North Market and Broadway. Watkins was arrested in north St. Louis County. A fourth person was not charged.
