St. Louis Police offering motor scooter, motorcycle locks

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- St. Louis Police and the St. Louis Collector of Revenue Office are selling motor scooter and motorcycle locks to residents.

The locks will be sold along with various other anti-theft devices already offered.

The motor scooter locks cost $15 and motorcycle locks $20. Also for sale are steering wheel clubs for $13; license plate covers for $5; license plate fasteners for $3; and personal vehicle safes for $20. 

Anti-theft devices are available for purchase at the Missouri Department of Revenue's license fee office at 1200 Market and at Five Star Senior, located at 2832 Arsenal Street.

The devices have been underwritten by Progressive Insurance and AAA Motor Club of Missouri, allowing the items to be sold at no cost to taxpayers.

The department's anti-theft program has distributed more than 30,000 items.
