PEVELY, Mo. (KMOV.com) - Surveillance cameras at a Mobil gas station in Pevely captured pictures of the face and car of the woman accused of stealing credit cards from a Ste. Genevieve Hospital employee.

Pevely police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect, who reportedly stole a wallet from an employee at a Ste. Genevieve Hospital on March 4.

According to police, the suspect racked up over $2,000 in charges on a credit card of the victim.

When confronted at the hospital and told she was in an unauthorized area, the suspect said she was waiting for her husband and got up to leave.

At the Mobil station, the woman allegedly used stolen credit cards to buy cigarettes and prepaid Visa cards, which are not traceable.

Detectives said she also used the stolen cards at pharmacies in Festus and Crystal City.

The woman was last seen driving a Mercedes SUV. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Pevely police at 636-475-4498.
