MEHLVILLE, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Police say a suspect attacked and robbed a man at a Mobil gas station in South County late Sunday night.

According to the clerk who was working at the time of the incident, the suspect grabbed the victim and wrestled him onto a display shelf around 11:15 p.m. After the incident, the suspect ran from the store.

The clerk told News 4 that the victim and suspect are regular customers of the gas station, located near Buckley and Lemay Ferry.

The victim sustained minor injuries.

Police have not said what was taken from the victim.

Police believe no weapons were used in the incident.

No other information has been released.
