CENTRAL WEST END (KMOV.com) – Police say they are searching for a man who robbed a Bank of America in the Central West End early Saturday morning.

Around 10:00 a.m., the suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note, demanding $50 and $100 bills. The suspect did not display a weapon and ran out of the bank when he obtained the money.

He then entered the back seat of a red 2006 Chevy Impala with Illinois license plate: “E80 7328.”

The suspect is described as a 5'6” stocky, white male with short sandy-brown hair, and is approximately 35-45 years old. He was wearing a dark jacket with a light gray collar, blue jeans, white sneakers, and a red checkered flannel shirt.

Police say this suspect matches the description of the bank robbery suspect who robbed a Breckinridge, Missouri bank on Friday. Authorities have not confirmed if the two robberies are connected.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 866-371-TIPS.
