Homicide units investigating after 5 people slain within 10 days throughout North County

NORTH ST. LOUIS CO. (KMOV.com) – Homicide units in North County are investigating five separate murders that occurred within the past 10 days.

The first murder occurred on March 17, when 21-year-old Terron White was shot and killed outside the Cuetopia Billiards and Sports Bar, located in the 11000 block of West Florissant.

A few days later, on March 22, Davion Jackson, 22, was found dead of a gunshot wound in the 10600 block of Spring Garden Drive.

Two days after the Spring Garden Drive homicide, authorities responded to the 10500 block of Lord Drive where they found Carl Tabb, 30, dead with multiple gunshot wounds lying on his dining room floor.

A day later, 45-year-old Gary Denwood was found dead of a gunshot wound inside a home in the 1000 block of Highmont Drive in Ferguson.

Less than 8 hours after the homicide in Ferguson, an unidentified man was found dead at a home on Sea Lane Drive in the Blackjack area. Police say neighbors heard gunshots and the sound of a car speeding out of the area around 1:00 a.m.

Authorities have not released any information detailing arrests or suspects in the cases.

All five investigations are ongoing.
