ST. ANN, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Authorities are not revealing many details after a police officer in St. Louis County was arrested Saturday on suspicion of driving drunk.

Jacob Klaus, a 22-year-old reserve officer with the St. Ann Police Department, was arrested and booked Saturday night.

St. Louis County Police said they are investigating a DWI case which occurred on the same evening involving a pick-up truck crashing into a Florissant home. No one was hurt in the incident.

Authorities did not say if Klaus was the suspect in the case and the county prosecutor's office said Klaus' information has not been entered into their computer system yet.

St. Ann Police Chief Aaron Jimenez did confirm that Officer Klaus is in trouble and an internal investigation has been launched into his arrest.

News 4 will continue to follow the investigation.
