Police searching for suspect who robbed Woodson Terrace Holiday Inn Express

WOODSON TERRACE, Mo (KMOV.com) – Police say they are searching for a suspect who robbed a Holiday Inn Express in Woodson Terrace on March 9.

The suspect, described as wearing a baseball hat, tan coveralls, and sunglasses, entered the building and told the hotel clerk he had a gun.

“[He] walks up to the corner, produces a note saying ‘Give me your money. I have a gun,'” said Detective Lieutenant Dan Hunter. Hunter says no gun was displayed and the clerk handed over the money.

This Holiday Inn Express is not the first hotel in the area to be robbed. A surveillance picture shows a man who St. Louis Police say robbed, shot and killed a worker in January.

Hunter says the incident is rare for this area and the first for this Holiday Inn Express, which opened less than a year ago.

Investigators say no one was injured during the robbery and are still searching for the suspect. Anyone with info should call the Woodson Terrace Police Department.
