NORTH ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) - Police in north St. Louis have one suspect in custody accused of shooting a woman in what police called a domestic dispute early Friday morning.

According to authorities, the woman was shot near the intersection of Emma and Goodfellow around 1 a.m. and then crashed her SUV through a fence and into a home in the 6200 block of Emma Avenue. The victim was transported to a local hospital where she is listed in stable condition.

Officers said the suspect is either the victim's boyfriend or ex-boyfriend.
