ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Police responded to a shooting in the LaSalle Park neighborhood around noon on Wednesday.

Homicide was requested to 9th and Park, where two male victims were found unconscious and pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have identified the victims as Derrick Roberts, 21, and DeJuan Etheridge, 21.

Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that they believe was part of a rolling gun battle responsible for taking the lives of Roberts and Etheridge.

The vehicle of the driver is described as a gray Toyota Camry with tinted windows, which is believed to have sustained damage from bullets.

An investigation into the incident later found that the driver of the white Dodge Charger, which was located with Roberts and Etheridge, was treated for a gunshot wound to the shoulder and released at an area hospital.

An additional suspect from the Dodge Charger remains at large.

A search of the vehicle revealed suspected heroin, money and guns.

Police say the shootout started on the exit ramp of I-44 at Hampton and ended near Park and 9th St.

Police shut down the entrance and exit ramps of I-44 at Hampton and parts of I-44 itself in relation to the investigation around noon Wednesday, but reopened most of the area around 2:45 p.m.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-8477.
