Federal Task Force presenting report on police tactics Monday

WASHINGTON, D.C. (KMOV.com) – On Monday, President Obama will be briefed by a federal task force developed in response to the shooting death of Michael Brown.

The President established a task force on 21st Century policing following Brown’s death. The task force looked at civilian review boards, police body cameras and how to re-establish trust between police and the communities they patrol.

The task force will meet with President Obama at 10:00 a.m. to give their proposal for a national crime and justice task force, an overhaul of the criminal justice system and changes that would prevent police departments from relying on traffic tickets to make money.
