Snow and ice cause multiple car accidents across the St. Louis area Saturday

( – Snow and ice caused multiple car accidents across the St. Louis region on Saturday.

Police say they arrested a man Saturday afternoon after he allegedly fishtailed and flipped over his car. The accident happened near the Timber Lake Manor exit. His wife and daughter were in the car at the time of the accident. It is unclear why the driver was arrested by police, but they do say it was related to the accident.

In Rolla, MoDOT says a multivehicle accident shut down traffic in both directions on Interstate 44 at mile marker 184 in Phelps County.

Another incident happened around 3:15 p.m. on Saturday on Interstate 70 near Jennings station. No injuries were reported. (Pictured Below)
