WILDWOOD, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Police arrested a man in Wildwood who is accused of stealing an acquaintance’s things, then posting the items on Craigslist.

County Police were called to a home in the 18000 block of Petra Court for a burglary last week. According to police, the burglary suspect, Brandon Silvers, had done work at the victim’s house previously.

Silvers is accused of taking two computers, an iPad, cash, knives and two guns from the home.

Hours after the robbery, Silvers posted some of the items on Craigslist using his real name, police say. Authorities set up a meeting with Silvers to purchase the iPad and when they showed up, Silvers was taken into custody.

Silvers is facing numerous charges including burglary, stealing and theft of a gun.
