(KMOV.com) – Police said nobody was hit after someone fired a series of shots at a home in the 5500 block of south Broadway Thursday morning.
Authorities said they believe the shooting was targeted. A teenager was inside the home, but was not hit. A parked car was also hit. Shell casings littered the sidewalk and a neighbor’s yard. A neighbor told News 4 his wife heard the shots and thought someone was knocking at the door.
“You would have definitely heard that. It would have sounded close enough for you to think someone was banging at the door because that’s a rifle round,” the neighbor said.
Police are still searching for the shooter.
