Photos released of man accused of stealing vehicle, leading police on several chases

WENTZVILLE, Mo. (KMOV.com)-- The Wentzville Police Department is asking for help locating a man suspected of stealing a vehicle and leading police on numerous chases.  

Police say a gray 2009 Pontiac G8 was stolen off the Century Dodge Chrysler Jeep dealership lot after a suspect located a set of keys for the vehicle. According to police, the keys were left out by an employee at the dealership.  The dealer plate of the vehicle is D571JD.

The stolen vehicle has been involved in at least six pursuits with several police agencies throughout the St. Louis area, according to a release from Wentzville police. 

Police have released surveillance photos of the suspect, who is described as a man in his mid-20s. The suspect is believed to 5 feet 11 inches tall, 160 pounds, and have goatee style facial hair.The Wentzville Police Department also said it appears the suspect has a circular shaped scar or blemish on the left portion of his forehead, as well as a scar on his right temple area.
