Police: Woman hid stolen baby clothes under car seat, blanket

(KMOV.com) – Authorities said a local woman admitted to knowingly buying baby clothes from the black market.
Authorities said 24-year-old Tanay Parker was arrested outside the Macy’s store at West County Mall and has been charged with receiving stolen property. According to police, she was illegally parked in a handicapped parking space in what police believe was a getaway vehicle for her accomplice.
Inside the car police said they found a blanket draped over a car seat, and then found $1300 worth of infant and toddler apparel. Authorities said she later admitted to buying the clothes on the black market.
