ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Spotty snow flurries can be expected through Thursday evening, but additional accumulation is not likely.
Temperatures will fall through the 20s and drop to around 18 by 5:00 p.m. Gusty winds will send wind chills into the teens and then single digits by this evening.
The snow showers really ramped up all across the St. Louis Metro and Metro East during the peak of the morning rush hour. Most of the News 4 viewing area saw an inch or less of new snowfall.
Friday will be sunny, but quite cold. Expect lows in the single digits and highs just below 20. Saturday morning lows will be near 9, with increasing clouds in the afternoon and highs in the upper 20s.
Another storm system will bring a chance of snow to the region late in the day Saturday, anytime after 6:00 p.m. and into Sunday morning. We will likely see snow turn to a wintry mix or eventually to rain depending on temperatures Sunday.
