Protesters hold "Monday Mourning" at home of St. Louis County Executive
ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- Protesters converged at the home of St. Louis County Executive Steve Stenger for a "Monday Mourning."
The protesters laid fake tombstones in front of his house and delivered a list of demands, including appointing a special prosecutor in the Michael Brown case, a moratorium on bench warrants, diversity in government appointments and the resignations for government officials they feel are preventing Ferguson from moving forward.
"The elected officials who need to be held accountable particularly in a moment where there is no accountability in the county. There is no accountability in St. Louis," said Jonathan Pulphus, a demonstrator.
