CAHOKIA, Ill. (KMOV.com) – The Illinois State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of a blaze that occurred in Cahokia, Illinois late Thursday night.

The two-alarm fire started just before midnight at a home in the 50 block of Delores Drive. When firefighters arrived to extinguish the flames, the home was fully engulfed.

A woman and her children live inside the home, but were not home when the fire started.

No injuries were reported. Fire officials say the fire is suspicious.

The investigation is ongoing.
