(KMOV.com) – Papa John’s delivery driver Ron Granberg said he was robbed for the second time in two weeks while delivering a pizza in south St. Louis.
The first robbery occurred January 12 in the Benton Park West neighborhood. Granberg said he was robbed while walking back to his car after delivering a pizza to an apartment near Pestalozzi and California. Granberg said the suspect got away with $50.
Police said the second robbery occurred January 23 on Gurney Court in the Southwest Garden District. An incident report said Granberg was in his car after making a delivery when three men approached him. Police one of the suspects pulled him out of the car and demanded money.
According to police, Granberg said he had no cash, so all three culprits punched him. Granberg suffered bruises on his arms and face. Granberg said he was treated at a hospital and is expected to be okay.
