(KMOV.com) - The government has no problem collecting a big chunk of your paycheck, so why is so much of it going down the drain,

While you’re stuck in traffic headed to work, some crooks don't even need to leave their house. They have mastered a multi-billion dollar rip-off that's getting worse every year. The IRS claims they will be going after the people who steal tax refunds, but Congress just cut the IRS enforcement budget by a $160 million.

Those in “the know” complain that the IRS has a pay and chase policy, meaning pay out billions, then chase it down later. Some estimates put tax refund fraud at $21 billion by 2016.
