FENTON, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A McDonald’s in Fenton had to be evacuated after its roof caught fire overnight.

Crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire at the McDonald’s on Old Smizer Station Road and Highway 141 before 10:45 p.m.

According to fire officials, the fire was isolated to the electrical sign on the roof.

The McDonald’s was closed shortly after the fire, it reopened before noon on Tuesday. 

No injuries were reported.
