15-Year-old sought help at liquor store after being shot twice

ST. LOUIS, Mo (KMOV.com) - A teenager is recovering from two gunshot wounds after being shot and running to a nearby liquor store Monday night.

A 15-year-old was walking in the 5000 block of Kensington when he heard gunshots. The victim started running, but was hit by bullets in the arm and leg.

After the shooting, the teenager sought help by running to E & J Package Liquor store in the 900 block of North Kingshighway Boulevard.

The 15-year-old is currently listed in stable condition. 

The victim told police he did not see where the shots were coming from or who fired them.

The investigation is ongoing.
