Smart phone apps could be your key to weight loss

(KMOV) -- One of the keys to losing weight could be on your smart phone.

The University of Pennsylvania found that smart phone applications and wearable devices are accurate at tracking how many steps you take.

Researchers also found that wearable devices such as Fit-Bit were less accurate than the applications.
