FLORISSANT (KMOV) -- Warrants were issued Friday for a man suspected of starting a pair of house fires in Florissant.

Wesley C. Williamson, 21, of Bridgeton, is being held at the St. Louis County Justice Center. Warrants were issued on two counts of first-degree arson and two counts of first-degree burglary.

The Florissant Police Department investigated two suspicious house fires on Feb. 12, one in the 1900 block of Appleblossom Court and one in the 400 block of Myrtle. Both fires originated in the garages of the houses and were contained to that area by firefighters.

During an investigation, Williamson was identified as the key suspect.
