ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Two suspects are in police custody after allegedly carjacking a man on Jan. 22.
The suspected carjacking took place in the 7720 block of Ellington.
On Feb. 6 police arrested one suspect and transported him to the St. Louis County Jail where he is being held on a $75,000 bond. The suspect is charged with first degree robbery and armed criminal action.
The second suspect was arrested, in absentia, on Feb. 9 after being interviewed by police. The suspect confessed to his involvement in the carjacking and verified that the first arrested suspect was involved. He is being charged with first degree robbery and armed criminal action.
Police have identified three other suspects they plan on arresting.
The second suspect was paralyzed by a bullet after the carjacking. He is currently in the hospital and will be taken to the Prosecutor’s Office after the other suspects have been arrested, per the Prosecutor’s recommendation.
