ARNOLD, Mo.- According to authorities, an Arnold man has been charged with robbery and armed criminal action after he allegedly assaulted another Arnold man, threatened him with a knife and stole his car.

A probable cause statement said Zachary Tyler Leist, 25,  punched a male victim, knocking him to the ground, kicked him and demanded everything in his pockets. The attack happened around 4:15 a.m. on Jan. 27.

The 27-year-old victim, a man from Arnold, said he gave Leist a pocket knife, an IPhone and keys to his 2000 Ford Mustang after being assaulted.

Leist then allegedly left in the victim's vehicle.
