ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – An accident involving a motorcycle shutdown the westbound lanes of Interstate 64 near the Hanley exit around 6:40 a.m.
Two passenger vehicles collided and a motorcyclist, fearing he would crash into the original accident, attempted to change lanes and caused the rider the place the bike on the ground. When the motorcyclist laid his bike down, he came to rest in the rear of the third passenger vehicle.
A female driver involved in the first collision and the motorcycle rider were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
All lanes of the roadway reopened around 7:30 a.m.
