ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – On Feb. 17 the Museum of Westward Expansion, located below the Arch, will close.
The closure will allow for the creation of brand new museum exhibits for visitors to experience when the CityArchRiver 2015 project is complete. The new interactive museum exhibits will focus on six thematic areas, including colonial St. Louis, Jefferson’s vision, the St. Louis riverfront, manifest destiny, new frontiers and the design and construction of the Gateway Arch.
While the museum is closed, the Arch will remain open.
Starting March 2 tickets to enter the Arch can be bought in person at the Old Courthouse or online by clicking here.
