ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – A 23-year-old man from Jennings was killed during a double shooting in north St. Louis Tuesday evening.
Joshua Johnson was sitting in the driver’s seat of a car in the 5800 block of Selber when he was shot in the face, arm and buttock. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police say.
A 22-year-old man was seated in the passenger seat of Johnson’s vehicle and sustained a gunshot wound to the shoulder. The man was taken to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition.
The 22-year-old victim told police the vehicle they were in was pulling onto a rear parking lot at Goodfellow and Selber when unknown suspects began shooting at them. After the shooting, the victims’ vehicle traveled across Goodfellow and struck a building in the 3300 block of Goodfellow.
The investigation is ongoing.
