ST. LOUIS, Mo.(KMOV.com) -- Kansas City Police are investigating the murder of a man who had St. Louis ties.
A daughter of 49-year-old Darron Washington says police found her father's body outside an apartment building after police and fire crews responded to a fire at the apartment complex.
When smoke cleared, police found the man's body wrapped in a sheet near the bushes.
Washington's daughter says he used to be a St. Louis pastor and moved to Kansas City a few years ago for a job at the Ford plant.
Police are still looking for Washington's car, a red 2013 Ford Fusion with Missouri plates that read HJ0L2H.
