ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOV.com)- The St. Charles County Highway Department announced the temporary closure of a portion of Cappeln Osage Rd. Tuesday.
The road will be closed beginning Wednesday, Feb. 18 to allow for construction of a new bridge, which is expected to take 45 days.
No through traffic will be allowed through the area and motorists will be directed to use Highway T and Femme Osage Creek Rd. to detour around the area. The area will be labeled appropriately with detour and closure signs.
The project is part of a continuing effort by St. Charles County Government to improve the county's road system for the safety of traveling public.
