NORTH ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com)- Police are looking for the criminals who targeted a North St. Louis church last week.
The Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church was vandalized last week as thieves damaged bathrooms and the air conditioner and ripped copper pipes out of the walls.
Police say the thieves seemed to have left with as much as they could carry, but the pastor at the church says it will not stop the church's mission.
"We want the community to know that we are still here," said Pastor Lee Harden. "The church is still part of the community and this setback will not stop us from moving forward."
Lee says insurance will cover some of the damage and theft.
