O’FALLON, Ill. (KMOV.com) – Police have released a composite sketch of the man they believe assaulted an O’Fallon, Illinois woman on her front porch.

The victim, a woman in her mid-30s, says she was attacked around 11 a.m. in the 900 block of Jordan Street in O’Fallon, Illinois while she was home alone.

After a struggle, the man left and the woman was taken to a hospital to be treated for her injuries.

The attacker is described as a white male with black hair, between 6-foot to 6-foot-2 and weighing 170 or more pounds. He was wearing a black hat, a black suit-style coat, white dress shirt with a black tie, black sunglasses and black gloves.

Authorities are concerned by the man’s outfit, telling News 4’s Alexis Zotos that they are not sure if the suspect is a white-collar citizen, or whether he was dressing to blend in or to appear as a Jehovah’s Witness.

The incident, which occurred two blocks away from Delores Moye Elementary School, caused the school to temporarily go on lockdown.

If you have any information that could lead to his capture, please call police.
