FERGUSON, Mo. (KMOV.com) – The St. Louis Business Journal is reporting at least five businesses have committed to resuming operations after the unrest in Ferguson last year.
Repairs at Sam’s Meat Market are currently underway and the owner plans to re-open in March. Little Caesar’s and Hidden Treasures Jewelry Store have made a verbal commitment to re-opening. St. Louis Fish and Chicken along with McDonald’s are already back open and operating.
Red’s BBQ, which became a gathering spot for protesters, says they will not be re-opening.
Several other businesses are still deciding whether they will re-open, including the QuikTrip that was burned down during the first night of unrest.
