St. Louis Symphony to perform score to "The Godfather"

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – The St. Louis Symphony will bring the big screen to Powell Symphony Hall when they perform the music to "The Godfa

The film has won three Oscars, was nominated for Best Score and is listed second on the list of 100 Greatest Films of All Time by the American Film Institute.

“To see something as iconic as the godfather. Everyone knows the movie, everyone knows the score right, but to see it in this hall on the big screen while the musicians are all performing the score live it’s a not to be missed event,” said Erika Ebsworth-Goold, publicist for the St. Louis Symphony.

The St. Louis Symphony will be playing “The Godfather” from March 27 through the 29.
