(KMOV.com) – The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra won a Grammy Award on Sunday for Best Orchestral Performance.

The Orchestra’s performance of John Adams’ City Noir was recorded live at Powell Hall in 2013 and was conducted by Music Director David Robertson.

The Nonesuch label recording also featured soloist Timothy McAllister in Adams’s Saxophone Concerto.

Sunday’s Grammy Award is the seventh for the St. Louis Symphony.
