Snow expected to fall in St. Louis-area Wednesday afternoon

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Snow showers will move into the News 4 viewing area Wednesday afternoon.

News 4 Meteorologist Kent Ehrhardt said snow will begin falling in the northern parts of the viewing area around noon. The snow will move into the St. Louis Metro area between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m.

Ehrhardt says the snow showers are expected to continue through the evening commute with some light accumulations.

The snow is expected to end by early evening with temperatures dropping.

Wednesday night temperatures are expected to be in the lower teens with many areas dipping into single-digit temperatures.

On Thursday, temperatures will be in the mid-20s and skies are expected to be sunny.
